Paul Logan, a sixth-generation Texan, has been performing around the Lone Star State professionally since age 16. His second CD, released in 2008, has received critical acclaim and Texas airplay, as well as European airplay in France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, and more recently, The Netherlands. Logan’s first CD, "Underneath Texas Skies", also saw success in the Texas Hill country and European stations. His music is authentic; described as Texas Music - Red Dirt / Americana / Honky-Tonk / Progressive Country. Logan was hand-picked this year by the City of Austin to perform the main stage of Austin Bergstrom Airport on Texas Independence Day. In the 80's, he was a member of "The Diamondback Band" in Kingwood, along with songwriters Scott Walker and Davin James. In the 90's, he fronted the bands "Texas Questions" and "Rodeo Mosquitos" in Huntsville. Logan has called Austin home since 1995, and is currently playing guitar for Shelli Coe - daughter of David Allan Coe. He also recently appeared on a live video performance with Scott Walker and "The Edge of Texas Band" (see Scott's myspace). He's played nightspots and festivals from Beaumont to Big Bend and beyond. The Paul Logan Band recently opened for Jerry Jeff Walker for Miller Lite at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Logan has been married for sixteen years, and is raising two boys.
For the past 25 years, Bob has been playing bass guitar while providing backup vocals with various central Texas country and western bands.Over the years he has worked both part time and as a full time musician with The Bill Mangum Combo, American Sunrise Band, Gary Duncan Band, Dick Gimble, The Red Horse Band, Paul Logan, as well as a host of others.Bob also played bass on The Red Horse Band’s album and single “Borderline”, which received national airplay.He has shared the stage with Jackie Ward, Jack Green, Jeanie Sealey, Asleep at the Wheel, Johnnie High, Deborah Allen, Mason Dixon, John Beland of the Burrito Brothers and the late Gary Stewart.Bob holds the CPA designation and enjoys living in Austin with his wife Lisa of 19 years and their two children.
Robert Asocar
Robert Asocar - Robert was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and grew up in San Antonio. He began taking violin lessons at age 10, and attended NorthTexasStateUniversity on a performance scholarship. Before and since college, he's performed and recorded a wide variety of musical styles with a multitude of artists, including Johnny Rodriguez, Monty Montgomery, Rusty Wier, Holly Dunn, Chris Wall, Blaze Foley, Rich Minus, Danny Click, Trish Murphy, Ponty Bone and Minnie Moore. Robert recorded a CD, Mercy Dance, with Carol Howell, and toured The Netherlands with him to promote it in 1995. He's also had the privilege of playing with Billy Bob Thornton on the silver screen in the recent release, The Alamo. Robert is married with 2 sons, 1 stepson, 1 stepdaughter and 7 grandchildren. He currently lives in Lago Vista, Texas with his wife, Diana, her mother, Hazel and 20 cats.
